The Writer app is the digital gateway to The Writer Magazine, the oldest continuously published periodical for writers in the country. With a legacy of 125 years, this publication caters to writers of all levels, providing monthly doses of writing advice, craft techniques, author interviews, insights into publishing and freelance writing, market news, and profiles of esteemed writers in various genres.

Available as a free download, The Writer app grants access to both the latest issue and past editions through in-app purchases. Subscriptions can also be conveniently managed within the application, starting from the current issue's release.

Upon subscription confirmation, charges will be processed through your iTunes account. To prevent automatic renewal, users can disable this feature at least 24 hours before the subscription period ends. Subscribers availing free trials should take note that they will be charged the full subscription fee at the trial period's conclusion if not canceled via iTunes settings 24 hours before expiry.

Creating an account within the app is advised, offering a safeguard for purchased issues in case of device loss and enabling synchronized accessibility across multiple platforms.

For optimal performance during the initial setup, it is recommended to install the app in a Wi-Fi-enabled area to ensure seamless data retrieval. In instances where loading issues persist post-installation or update, resolving this concern is as simple as uninstalling and reinstalling the app from the App Store.
